There’s nothing quite like experiencing Christmas the old-fashioned way—bundled up, riding behind a team of beautiful horses, and taking in the peaceful charm of a tree farm in December. This year, we’re excited to offer horse-drawn wagon rides at Woody Acres on December 6 and 13 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, inviting families of all ages to enjoy a nostalgic journey through our sprawling Christmas tree fields.
Your 20-minute ride begins at the heart of our farm, where you’ll climb aboard a classic wooden wagon operated by our trusted partners at Whitney Hill Farm LLC. Their experienced team brings the warmth, professionalism, and skill that make this experience both safe and memorable. As you set off, the gentle sounds of hooves and harnesses create an unforgettable backdrop to the rolling fields, festive atmosphere, and simple joys that make the holiday season so special.
These wagon rides are purely scenic, offering a peaceful moment to slow down and take in the beauty of Woody Acres. With seating for 10 -12 guests per ride, it’s a wonderful shared activity for families, friends, and visitors looking to add an extra touch of magic to their Christmas tree outing. For the safety of all, dogs and other animals are not allowed to join you in the horse drawn-wagon ride.
No advance booking is required—rides are offered during designated hours. There is an additional fee for wagon rides, and payment is cash-only, so please plan accordingly. The experience is family-friendly and welcoming to guests of all ages. Should the weather turn poor wagon rides will be cancelled to check our social media accounts for updated information.
